Third Year - Mechanical Engineer Major - Bachelor's Degree - University of California, Santa Barbara- 3.8 GPA Right now I am focused on completing my undergrad, but I am contemplating the prospect of grad school. I don't know if I want to do it immediately following my first four years, but it is definitely a consideration down the road.

Experience/Qualifactions: I always strive to achieve an exceptional degree of understanding with anything that I’m presented with. This, coupled with my patience, persistence, and clarity, has made me the ideal go-to tutor among my friends and family. Although my professional experience is limited to the several months I’ve worked with Tutor.com, I’ve done countless hours with fellow students and peers back at UCSB, Westmoor High school, and numerous elementary schools across the Bay Area. I have been a volunteer tutor for 6 years. On top of that, I have been hired by my university to tutor other college students. At the start of my 3rd year, I will be teaching groups of 20+ students during 1-hour sessions in the areas of Calculus and Physics. I love tutoring because I believe the only way to keep our knowledge alive throughout the centuries is to pass it on! But besides that, I know how frustrating the curriculum can be for some students because I’ve been there before. What may take an hour for one student might take days for another. Despite this, I believe every student is capable of grasping the concept they seek. Everyone is capable of learning any concept; they just need to see it under their own light, and I am here to help them do that :) If you’d like a better gauge of my experience and ability, I have references available upon request. Hobbies
I love staying active during my downtime. I enjoy most sports, but especially basketball and cycling... but ESPECIALLY cycling. Each summer my friends and I convene and go on weekly bike trips. We like to bike around San Francisco and down to San Mateo. Throughout the summer we increase our pace and distance. By the end, we make our annual round trip from Daly City to San Jose. Last year, we added detours to our route and we managed 111 miles in a day! I also enjoy wood-working, machining, billiards, books and movies, and simply kicking back with friends and family.
